looking back, things are so much better for me than they were just a few years ago. the me from the past would look at my situation now and give anything to be in that position. so why is it that i am still unhappy? what's my problem?
it feels like, sometimes...the severe damage has already been done, and no matter how much others force my family to repair that, the repairs are such a strained, thinly stretched layer, with the "old wounds" clearly visible underneath. maybe it will strengthen in time. but who's to say it will hold up for that long? i have a feeling, knowing them and their tendency to exist separately from the rest of the world, it will break again very soon.
i should be grateful for these days when nothing has happened, but instead i just feel scared and anxious.
